On a side street near the consulate is a little store that sells baozi, meat filled buns that are steam cooked. It’s one of my favorite foods, especially yummy for breakfast.
The store sells many different flavors of baozi. I got plain meat filled. They cost ¥1 apiece, about 16¢. At that price, I could afford to buy two!
