This blog describes my little adventures as I go through life. As my tag line indicates, I don’t do things the easy way. That makes life interesting, but also sometimes stressful and uncertain.
In 2012, I started the process of applying to the US Foreign Service. Of all the jobs searches that I have engaged in, this is the most time-consuming and complicated. Follow my adventures of applying, trying to get in, and what happened to me after I got in.
Now that I am in the Foreign Service, I have many more stories to tell. The funny and absurd things that happen to me and that I observe will be posted here. The serious parts about my work will not be posted here or anywhere.
