GPS doesn’t care how much it embarrasses you.

I went for a run today. I got a little lost. RunKeeper faithfully logged my route. In my defense, subdivisions in this neighborhood are really confusing. Plus, I have no sense of direction. Plus, my music was really loud. Plus, my feet hurt. Plus, I’m an idiot.

Looks like a preschooler went crazy with a red sharpie.

Lying with my Camera

I am really enjoying the high quality camera on my iPhone. There is an app called “Slow Shutter” that lets you take trick photos. The motion blur effect is really stunning. You can make ordinary scenes look amazing. On a walk in the park this morning, we took some fun pics.

Don’t let anyone tell you that the camera never lies. Not only does it lie, it does so shamelessly. And beautifully.

Time-Lapse Sunset

My phone has a time-lapse setting. You have to use a tripod, otherwise the image will be jumpy. Here is about 5 minutes of today’s sunset, compressed into 14 seconds.

This was just an experiment. Now that I know how it works, I will do longer recordings next time.
